《21世紀實用英語視聽說教程》是“十二五”職 業教育國家規劃教材“21世紀實用英語系列教材”中 的一種，根據《高職高專教育英語課程教學基本要求 》和《高等學校英語應用能力考試（口試）大綱》設 計和編寫，旨在通過真實而有時代氣息的場景、地道 而又生動的語言、實用而又豐富的知識、多樣而又活 潑的練習提高學生的英語聽說能力。本教程包括“學 生用書”和“教學參考書”（每種分為1—4冊）及配 套的MP3光盤、多媒體課件和網絡課程等，供高職高 專院校普通英語教學使用，也可供高職高專院校英語 專業教學使用。
本教程在編寫設計上充分體現學生在教學過程中 的主體地位和教師的引導作用，選材全面、真實，聽 、說技能訓練緊密契合，題材生動、體裁豐富、語言 材料多樣。本教程可以獨立使用，也可以作為《21世 紀實用英語》系列教材的一部分與系列內其他教材配 套使用。
本書為“學生用書”第1冊，共8個單元，每個單 元均由Lead-in和“視聽說”、“聽力訓練”和“趣 味視聽”3部分組成。“視聽說”部分又分為“看前 準備”、“邊看邊練”和“看后操練”3個小部分； “聽力訓練”部分包括“聽力微技能訓練”和“綜合 聽力訓練”兩大塊；“趣味視聽”則分為“影視欣賞 ”和“輕松一刻”兩個小部分。
本書由姜荷梅、徐旸、劉爽主編。
姜荷梅，副教授，現任上海商學院國際交流學院(外語學院)常務副院長。主編有《新英語教程教師用書》(4)、《商業英語》、《高職高專英語詞匯必備》、“十一五”國家級規劃教材《21世紀大學實用英語基礎教程》及《世紀商務英語——聽說教程》(總主編)等。曾獲上海市育才獎、上海市商業系統優秀園丁獎等。
