《醫學英語教程（第2版）/中國科學院教材建設委員會規劃教材·全國高等醫藥院校規劃教材》分14個單元，選材涉及肌肉骨骼、皮膚、呼吸、泌尿、藥物、放射等，各單元有兩篇文章，均選自國外醫學語言和醫學教材原著，個別地方編者有所改動，并在此基礎上編寫了大量的練習，以幫助醫學術語的學習和醫學文獻的理解，同時在練習中還選編了一些醫學英語長難句，以訓練讀者的醫學文獻長難句分析和翻譯能力。
