本書以酒店服務與管理崗位必備的專業知識和技能為學習內容,以酒店前廳、客房、餐廳和康樂情景為主線,圍繞著真實的工作任務,突出典型工作崗位應具備的依言行事的能力。
本書分為4大學習情境,共19個單元。其中,前廳服務6個單元,客房服務5個單元,餐廳服務4個單元,康樂服務4個單元。每個單元包括單元知識總括、課時任務學習和單元復習。每課分為4個部分,分別包括知識目標、技能目標、教學過程和知識加油站。其中,教學過程包括6個任務,這6個任務分別為單詞訓練、詞組訓練、句型訓練、聽說訓練、角色扮演以及任務布置。另外,本書還加了3個附錄,分別為酒店常用英語詞匯、初級星級酒店英語基本知識和防火措施。
